Post by RayPPost by Shoe-Chucker 2Post by RayPI am trying to find out what chemicals professional exterminators
use against bedbugs.
I see bedbug treatment chemicals and aerosols sold in big box
stores etc., but I doubt that they contain the same chemicals that
professional exterminators use.
D.E. \ is the answer.
Diatomaceous Earth. non-toxic. longer lasting , that's why
Exterminators use it .
From all that I have researched and read, Diatomaceous Earth is not
"the answer".
My exterminator didn't use it. I know other exterminators who don't
use it. The pest control supply store that I went to (not a Home
Depot or Lowes etc) doesn't sell it and they say that's because it
doesn't work.
P.S. If Diatomaceous Earth were "the answer", and if it really did work at
getting rid of bedbugs, it would be used everywhere and we wouldn't hear
that bedbugs are a major concern and hard to get rid of. Instead, whenever
people had bedbugs, they would just go to Home Depot or Lowes etc. and buy
Diatomaceous Earth and use it and their problem would be solved.
Post by RayPOn the other hand, I do know of anecdotal reports from individuals
who swear by the stuff.
